Recommended Itinerary
• Duration : 10 hours (08:00 - 18:00)

From the pier in Laem Chabang, depart for Ayuttaya by an air-conditioned vehicle for 3 hour drive on the express way direct to Ayutthaya, 70 kms north of Bangkok.
First visit, suggest at Bang Pa-in, Royal summer palace. Originally, Bang Pa-in was a riverine island. King Prasat Thong (1630-1655) had a palace built in a lake in the middle of the island as a royal retreat, and it was used by every succeeding Ayutthaya monarch. When the capital moved to Bangkok, the palace was left unused for 80 years. Bang Pa-in was revived by King Rama IV (1851-1868), who had a house built there. His son, King Rama V (1868¬1910), liked the place immensely, stayed there every year and constructed the splendid ensemble as it's seen today
Continue drive further north another 30 min / 25 Kms to visit Ayutthaya, the ancient of Siam in 1350-1767. Founded in the 14 century, and was the nation’s capital for more than 400 years until its destruction in 1767. During the height of its power it ranked as the largest, most magnificent city in the Orient, as witnessed in the extensive ruins of numerous temples and palaces that are today preserved in what is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Late afternoon, leaving for Bangkok and then onward to Laem Chabang. As you travel you will capture a sense of the simple life of the friendly people who live here in the city. Bangkok is well known for its beautiful Thai silk, jewellery and local handicrafts. Don't miss the opportunity to get a best value items from this city.
