Pick up from Lam Chabang port by
the wharf
and drive out to Bangkok on the express way. Upon arrival, drive
through the local road passing the bustling streets and the old
business area of Bangkok city. Visit
the
Royal Grand Palace & the Emerald Buddha Temple.
This is a must see for all visitors to Bangkok.
The Grand Palace complex, which includes the Temple of the Emerald
Buddha (Wat Phra Keow) is unquestionably one of the wonders of the
world today. Within its enormous grounds is the most exotic Buddhist
temple and at the heart of the temple itself is a fabulous Buddha
image, carved from one piece of Jade, which is
the holiest and most revered of religious objects in Thailand today.
Then continue by road
north of
Bangkok to visit the ruins of
Ayutthaya,
the former capital of Thailand during 1350 - 1767 till was sacked
by Burmese, invaders. Many magnificent ruins of the old city still
remain and some have restored. Archaeological excavations are still
proceeding at many sites in the area. Prior to return back to
Klong Toey enjoy free time shopping at Gems factory, Silk &
handicraft Centre.
