This course is situated in beautiful countryside and benefits from
the hundreds of trees and shrubs. There are some very difficult
holes, including longish water carries on the opening holes of both
sides. Fairways give many sloping lies and many of the greens are
hidden behind huge mounds. The four par fives are all tough holes;
the 11th and 18th particularly so, as water
hazards line both sides of the fairway. Clever placement of bunkers
and undulating greens add to the difficulties of this very exacting
course. The clubhouse is opulent and dining here is expensive.

This course is deceptive and appears much easier than it is. It is a
fairly flat layout with good fairways and greens. Water comes into
play on every hole except the tenth. The greens tend to be quite and
have many interesting slops for the golfer to assess. The long par
five holes are all difficult on account of the either water or
extensive bunkering. The course is complemented by an elegant
clubhouse, sporting facilities, residences and a boat club. Visitors
are not permitted to play on weekends.
